If by the power of the Holy Spirit we can lead one soul to Christ; he has just used us to do great things. Great things do not always consist in the number of things done but the quality. It is an excellent thing to lead someone to Christ; they receive him and go on in him. It is a wonderful and great thing to snatch just one soul from the pits of hell – it’s a great thing. And God used us to do it and we’re feeling really good about ourselves, remember, it is not us that doeth the works. We must remember the methods He used to humble us, to humiliate us and just worship him. We shouldn’t even think about what he just used us for, just worship him. When Mary, the mother of Jesus, found out the great things that God was going to use her for, she didn’t brag or boast to her friends – she worshipped. She said my soul doth magnify the Lord. She acknowledged the great things, but to him.
